***  DIGGIN' RHYTHM SALSA WORKSHOP ***

In this workshop we will explore the floor (the base of support for our dance), the feet (the base of support of our body) and the connection between the two, in order to dig Salsa rhythm and incorporate it into our body.

In the first part of this workshop, we will explore the feet-floor interaction as an essential cyclic path of energy in dance. We will discover how the feet can give and receive energy to and from the floor and how this interaction can be used to consciously support our body in Salsa dancing.

In the second part of the workshop we will explore the hidden rhythms in Salsa music and the tools to connect your feet with the music... We will dig deep into our body to create echos of the rhythm behind the music...

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- No dance experience required (open level)

- Bring comfortable clothes (trousers and long sleeve top recommended) and a pair of socks (you will be dancing on your feet).

Dress up in White and bring any "glow in the dark" props 
you like (glow sticks will be provided). Neon painting is 
also very welcome... ;-)


UV lights will be ON! This will be a party to GLOW and 
remember!

There has been many requests and enough interest to run KIZOMBA & SEMBA and more CHA CHA CHA & MAMBO dance classes.

This is to let you know that these classes are now open on Tuesdays and Sundays, respectively

Classes will start on the second Sunday and Tuesday of May according to the following timetable:

Sunday nights: 11th May to 29th of June (8 week course)

Cha Cha Cha workshop  -  7 pm to 8 pm

Cha Cha Cha social practice  -  8 pm to 8.30 pm

Mambo workshop  -  8.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Mambo social practice  -  9.30 pm to 10 pm

1 course - $100; 2 courses - $180

Casual class and social practice - $20

Tuesday nights: 13, 20 and 27th of May and 10, 17 and 24th of June (6 week course)

Kizomba & Semba workshop  -  7 pm to 9 pm

Kizomba & Semba social practice  -  9 pm to 10 pm

1. Australia Day Salsa Special on the 28-Jan-2013

3. Eight-Hour Day Salsa Special on the 11-Mar-2013

4. Easter Salsa Special on the 1-Apr-2013

These events happen on every Monday night that correspond with a public holiday, and substitute the regular Monday Salsa classes to provide another opportunity for all dancers to come together and share their passion for dance!
